London Underground Signalling Panel - Northern Line Control Room

Insulated double glazed panel (2 panes). Produced by Martindales Insulated Glass. Measures: 90cm x 65cm approx. Excellent condition.

This signalling panel originates from a London Underground control room located at Coburg Street where the Northern and Victoria Lines are controlled. See photos of this exact panel in situ in 2001. This control room was closed in 2014. These panels were backlit to show the location and progress of trains in real time along with the status of each signal.

This particular panel features the busiest and most complex sections of railway in London - King’s Cross and Euston stations. Not only do these stations serve mainline routes but between them they also serve two branches of the Northern Line along with the Victoria, Piccadilly, Metropolitan and Circle Lines. This panel only shows the two Northern Line branches and the Piccadilly Line at King’s Cross.

Collection from Bristol Area. We are happy to work with you on collection and may be able to meet you somewhere mutually convenient.
