Designed by Italo Lupi for Piaggio. Measures 70cm x 50cm. Very good overall condition, stored rolled. some 1cm tears along the left edge unlikely to be visible in a frame. 

This striking poster designed by internationally acclaimed designer Italo Lupi, brings together two iconic designs - the Piaggio Vespa scooter and Harry Beck's London Underground map - in celebration of the 50th Anniverary of the Vespa. The design shows a Vespa Scooter drawn as a Beck-style transit map with the stops suggesting the endless routes and travels to ride with a Vespa. 

Italo Lupi's drew inspiration from British design culture his whole career saying.. “British graphic culture is what had the most influence on my work.”. There are few more iconic British designs than Becks map of the London Underground, which was first published in 1933.
