The artwork in this stunning poster is by E Barker, whose superb 3-D cutaway illustrations had been widely used by London Transport since 1965 (Victoria Line). This poster shows the new Moorgate Development: a large office block development incorporating a new Underground station. The rendering of the ticket hall and platforms feature the latest 'self-serve' ticket machines and new new LT branding treatment (rolled out in 1973).
