This early issue shows the Metropolitan Railway terminating at Moorgate with planned extension to Bishopsgate and Aldgate (completed in 1874). Mansion House is shown as the District Railway eastern terminus (Opened July 1871) but Earl’s Court station isn’t shown (opened late 1871).
