Earl’s Court Road connects Old Brompton Road with Cromwell Road (A4), running North to south .The Southern end is in the SW5 postcode whilst the Northern end is W8. Home of the world famous Exhibition Centre and Arena by the same name. After the war, Earl’s Court Road became famous for its diverse international population, notably Polish (post war) and Australian (1960s).
Whilst this sign is in the 1930s style, it is likely to have been produced around the 1970-1980s and many examples of this sign are still in situ along Earl’s Court Road.
