Movie Poster "Beyond The Time Barrier" US One Sheet (1960)

£795.00

Beyond The Time Barrier (1960)

Produced by National Screen Service Corp. for American International Pictures. Artist unknown. US One Sheet (41 x 27 inches). Linen Backed and Framed (UV Glass). Print Code 59/247. Exhibited at the Royal Albert Hall in 2017. Excellent condition.

This stunning original poster featuring a futuristic metropolis, promotes "Beyond the Time Barrier", a 1960 American science fiction film. The film follows a military test pilot who is caught in a time warp that propels him to year 2024 where he finds a plague has sterilized the world's population. As the poster suggests,

It starred Robert Clarke (who also served as producer) and directed by Edgar G. Ulmer. Ulmer's wife Shirley acted as a script editor while their daughter Arianne Arden appeared as a Russian pilot. It was one of two low budget sci-fi films shot back-to-back in Dallas, Texas by Ulmer (the other being The Amazing Transparent Man, released earlier that year). The combined filming schedule for both films was only two weeks.

This actual poster was exhibited at the "I can See The Future" Poster Exhibition at the Royal Albert Hall, which took place Sept-Nov 2017. There is information on the back of the frame.

Collection from Bristol area. I happy to meet in a mutual convenient location in the South of England. I would also consider selling it unframed to enable international shipping.
